Ectopic pregnancy with implanted gestational sac in the cesarean scar

Introduction: Implantation of a pregnancy in the cesarean scar is considered rarest presentation ectopic with high morbidity and mortality. The use imaging tests capable early diagnosing such cases assisting management pregnancy. present article reports two scar, illustrating main aspects ultrasound tomography (UST) magnetic resonance (MRI) exams. In addition, bibliographic search was carried out database that presented data about this clinical condition. Case Series: 1: A 44-year-old patient, without comorbidities, G2P1cA0, 9w4d, admitted bleeding for 03 days. Ultrasound showed single gestational sac an embryo anomalous morphology, no heartbeat isthmic topography, exophytic position, over topography from previous section. initial diagnosis placental accreta. After MRI pelvis, implanted section (type II—exogenous), signs trophoblast/placental 2: 30-year-old G2P1c, 7w3d pregnancy, abdominal pain. transmural type I (endogenous), which later confirmed by pelvic MRI. Conclusion: It necessary to highlight importance implantation given possibility making appropriate therapeutic decision depending on context, aiming reduce possible complications

A combination of systemic chemotherapy, feticide with intrachest and intra-abdominal injection with methotrexate, and hysteroscopy with dilation and curettage to remove the gestational tissue was successful in the treatment of a cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy.
